Futurepro Sports Coaching came into being at the start of 2004, the realisation of a long held ambition for founder and Managing Director, Steve Wilkes (left). Steve took a break from a successful City career in investment banking to divert all his energies into fulfilling his dream of creating an exceptional children’s sports coaching company. Steve has over 10 years experience of coaching children’s sports. This has included coaching posts with Manchester United F.C., Southampton F.C. and Fulham F.C. Most of this coaching work has involved developing young football players to give them the best possible start to their football playing careers. He has since assembled a team of first-class coaches who all share Steve's  dedication to improving young sportspeople.

After the fantastic news that the 2012 Olympics will be staged here in London, Futurepro are pushing ahead with innovative plans to inspire a generation of athletes. Our PPA schools coaching programme is offering top-quality sports coaching to many schools, who are entrusting their entire Physical Education programme to Futurepro Coaches. This is an incredibly exciting development that should ensure that the Great Britain medal tally will continue to improve and many more children will be introduced to a life where sport is an integral factor.

The Futurepro mission is simple: provide the best quality sports coaching for children in any sport they wish to play. The benefits to those who take part in Futurepro courses are clear to see.
